Adelaide · Slow gaming journal
Play with intention, raid without the burnout.
A calm corner of the internet for thoughtful raid strategy, cozy game reviews, and gentler play habits — written from a quiet studio on Ebenezer Place.
A note from the founder
Gaming should leave you rested, not wired.
I started LunarRaidChampions after fifteen years of late-night raids that left me tired and short with the people I loved. I still adore the encounter design, the coordination, the shared win at 2am — but I wanted to write about all of it without the panic and the FOMO.
These days I test strategies during daylight hours, review cozy games with a pot of tea, and share notes on pacing your sessions so the hobby fits around your life instead of swallowing it. Thanks for reading — pull up a chair.

What we cover
Guides for the whole player, not just the character sheet.
Raid strategy, calmly explained
Encounter breakdowns with clear phase timers, positioning maps and callout scripts — written so a first-time raid lead can run the fight without a spreadsheet meltdown.
Cozy game reviews
Honest, unhurried reviews of farming sims, life-builders and slow adventures — with notes on session length, difficulty and how each one feels after a long day.
Healthier play habits
Practical routines for wrist care, screen breaks, sleep-friendly schedules and setting boundaries with guildmates — small changes that keep the hobby sustainable.
Guild culture & leadership
Thoughts on running a kind, low-drama guild: recruiting, rostering across time zones, handling burnout and celebrating progress without gatekeeping.
Gear & setup, minimal
Buy-it-once recommendations for comfortable, quiet setups — from lighting and desk posture to headsets that won't wreck your ears over a four-hour run.
Reader Q&A sessions
A monthly mailbag where members send in their stuck-points — a wipe they can't solve, a backlog they can't start — and we work through them together.

What readers say
Kind words from a calmer guild.
The first-raid-lead guide got our team through a boss we'd wiped on for three weeks. Clear timers, no jargon, and it actually told me what to say out loud.
I came for strategy and stayed for the wellbeing notes. The screen-break routine finally fixed the wrist ache I'd been ignoring for a year. Genuinely thoughtful writing.
The cozy game reviews are the only ones I trust — they tell me how long a session takes and whether I can put it down. Perfect for parenting on a tight schedule.
